This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Barsoi P.S. Case No. 264 of 2015, disclosing offence under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner is the son-in-law of the deceased and the allegation against him is of killing the deceased in order to grab the property of the deceased.
Considering the serious nature of the offence, I am not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The same is accordingly rejected. The petitioner, above-named, is directed to surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17716 of 2016 (3) dt.12-07-2016 2/2 today and seek regular bail, if so advised. If he does so, his application for regular bail shall be considered by the learned court below on its own merit without being prejudiced by rejection of present application for grant of anticipatory bail.
