Petitioner is in custody in connection with Rajaun P.S. Case No. 74 of 2018 for the offence under sections 279, 337, 338 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he has remained in custody for more than three months. He submits that in the instant case after investigation charge-sheet has already been submitted and as such there is no chance of tampering with the evidence in the instant case.
