JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE) Date: 13-02-2017 The petitioner has filed the present writ application in public interest for directing the authorities to cancel the Voter List of Panchayat Elections, 2016.
We find that not only Panchayat Election has been completed but we find that for inclusion or exclusion in the voter list, there is a statutory process which can be undertaken to correct the

We do not find that public interest litigation is maintainable for correction of the voter list. Accordingly, the present writ application is dismissed.
