The petitioner has filed this petition for extending the period of his surrender.

The petitioner was granted anticipatory bail vide order dated 16.12.2015 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 50674 of 2014 in the event of his arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/ production of the aforesaid order but the petitioner got burn injuries, therefore, he could not surrender in the court below.

Sri S. K. Lal, the learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that petitioner got burn injuries on his abdomen, therefore, he could not surrender.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17381 of 2016 (2) dt.17-08-2016 2/2 Considering the fact that petitioner could not surrender in the court on account of burn injuries, the period of surrender of petitioner in connection with Complaint case No. 1546(C) of 2012 pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai is extended by two weeks from today.

The modification petition is allowed.
