Petitioner is in custody in connection with Sahebganj P.S. Case No. 36 of 2020 for the offence under sections 272/273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is 25 years old and he has no criminal antecedent. In the instant there is recovery of 67 liters of liquor. The petitioner is in custody since 27.1.2020. Considering the period of custody, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16897 of 2020(3) dt.09-06-2020 2/2 amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge,Excise Act, Muzaffarpur, in connection with Sahebganj P.S. Case No. 36 of 2020 subject to the condition that on release the petitioner shall render his service as volunteer in dedicated Covid-19 hospital for a period of one month. He is required to report to the district Nodal Officer who shall utilize the service of the petitioner appropriately.
