JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 11-05-2015 Heard learned counsels for the petitioners and the State. The petitioners being the parents of the husband of the victim are apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The accusation is of killing the daughter of the informant after about three years of the marriage for nonfulfillment of the dowry demand. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the specific accusation of demand of dowry is against the husband of the victim who has been granted regular bail. The accusation against the petitioners is omnibus and general. The petitioners
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.13856 of 2015 (2) dt.11-05-2015 2/2 claim to be separate from the husband of the victim and brothers and brothers' wives of the husband of the victim have been granted anticipatory bail by this Court vide Cr. Misc. No. 9087 of 2015.
Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioners be released on anticipatory bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of 12 weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of `10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M., Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Pipra P.S.
