For the Appellant : Shri Nityanand Mishra, Adv. For the Respondents : Shri Balmiki Pandey Bhaskar, Adv. =========================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE and HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE I. A. ANSARI ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) Date: 16-01-2015 This Letters Patent Appeal is filed assailing the order dated 23.4.2014, passed in C.W.J.C. No.16358/2013. The writ petition, in turn, was filed against the order passed by the learned Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Patna, awarding some maintenance to the respondent herein. Learned single Judge dismissed the writ petition. It is not in dispute that the writ petition itself was filed under Article-227 of the Constitution. It is almost in civil revision. Clause-X of the Letters Patent does not permit of filing of Appeals against the orders passed by learned single Judge in exercise of revision jurisdiction.
Patna High Court LPA No.1352 of 2014 dt.16-01-2015 2/2 The Letters Patent Appeal is accordingly dismissed as "not maintainable".
