JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 22-03-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "That this is an application for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent authorities to reinstate the original place of seniority as seniority No.3991 of the petitioner in seniority list and also give consequential benefits including promotion to the rank of Dy.SP for which petitioner is legally entitled too as his junior has been granted promotion and further for issuance of any other appropriate writ/ writs, order/orders it may deem fit and

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Director General of Police, Bihar for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case appropriate representation is filed, within a period of two weeks from today, the Director General of Police, Bihar shall dispose off the same by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks, thereafter. 4.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
