The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Kanti P.S. Case No.178 of 2017 registered for the offences under Sections 328 and 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code. As per the first information report, the deceased has been killed after four years of marriage. There is direct allegation against the petitioner of demand of dowry and torture. He is also trying to tamper with the evidence.
