This is an application for bail in connection with Bettiah Muffasil P.S. Case No. 354 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation against the petitioner is of harassing his wife and for that she has attempted to commit suicide along with her children and the children died but she anyhow saved. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that nothing specific has been attributed to the petitioner and the material available in the case diary shows that she has left the house along with her children and attempted to commit suicide and petitioner is in custody for three months. Heard learned APP also.

No.35345 of 2017 (3) dt.23-08-2017 2/2 Having heard both sides and considering the facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, in connection with Bettiah Muffasil P.S.Case No. 354 of 2016, subject to the conditions :- (i) One of the bailors should be a local person having sufficient immoveable properties within the jurisdiction of court concerned, (ii) Petitioner will co-operate in trial and appear in court on each and every date fixed in the case, failing which his bail bond shall be cancelled.
