The petitioner seeks bail in Nasriganj (Raipur) P.S. Case No. 147 of 2017 registered under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.
28 bags of rice is said to have been recovered and seized from the van of the petitioner which was being taken in the market for vending. The driver of the said van was apprehended by the police.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner happens to be the PDS dealer. Due to rainy season his godown was percolating, so he was shifting the said rice to his another godown for the safety from rain and during the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.46007 of 2017 (2) dt.20-09-2017 2/2 said process he was apprehended by the police. The petitioner has been languishing in custody since 15.07.2017. Considering the facts aforesaid, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Sasaram, Rohtas in connection with Nasriganj (Raipur) P.S. Case No. 147 of 2017 (Prakash Chandra Jaiswal, J) Mishra/- U T
