The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 447, 384, 385, 427 and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 (I) (X) of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
The accusation is of demanding extortion of Rs. two lacs, abusing by calling caste name, demolishing the house of the informant and committing theft of 100 trolleys. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that in the background of land dispute, the accusation has been levelled. The accusation is not specific against the petitioner. Case No. 05 of 2015 pending in the court of learned CJM, Gopalganj. Accordingly, the application is disposed of.
