Heard the parties.
The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 622 of 2018 registered for the offences under Sections 498(A), 379, 380, 323, 504 and 497 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
Initially, the petitioner has stated that the compromise talks are going on and the parties are ready to compromise the matter.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20263 of 2020(7) dt.12-01-2022 2/2 Today, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the compromise talks failed on the difference of amount for one time settlement.
As the complainant has made serious allegations against the petitioner and in view of these allegations, the petitioner does not deserve anticipatory bail, therefore, the application for anticipatory bail is dismissed. The interim order of protection dated 09.11.2020 shall automatically stand vacated.
The petitioner is directed to surrender in the court below within eights weeks from today.
