The petitioner is in custody in connection with Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 208 of 2018 for the offences under Sections 498A/34, 341, 323, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 10.06.2018. He further submits that in the instant case marriage took place 14 years back and petitioner is ready to keep his wife with full honor and dignity even today. He further submits that he is ready to abide that the condition settled by this Court

Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah in connection with Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 208 of 2018. The Court below after releasing the petitioner shall refer the dispute between parties to District Mediation Center so that the dispute between husband and wife may be settled.
