1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this is an application for issuance of a writ of Mandamus to a writ of Mandamus to restore the Grade pay of Rs. 4200/- which was granted to the petitioners and also grant of third M.A.C.P from due date and cost of this proceedings."
2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the respondent-State has submitted, by referring to paragraph no.8 of the counter affidavit, filed in the present case that the proposal for grant of A.C.P. and M.A.C.P. to 69 police
Patna High Court CWJC No.11674 of 2021(2) dt.24-11-2023 2/2 personnel, including the petitioners herein, have been sent to the Deputy Inspector General of Police (North Range), Muzaffarpur, vide Memo dated 11.06.2021, alongwith Service Records, Service Books and Confidential Reports, hence a final decision is expected to be taken very soon.
3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, deem it fit and proper to dispose off the present writ petition with a direction to the Deputy Inspector General of Police (North Range/BMP), Muzaffarpur, to take the final decision with regard to grant of A.C.P. and M.A.C.P. to the petitioners and others, within a period of four weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order, in case the final decision has not yet been taken.
