ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 14-02-2025 Having regard to the fact that the petitioner is having an alternative and effective statutory remedy of approaching the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum under Section 42(5) of the Electricity Act, 2003, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present Writ Petition.

2. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach the C.G.R.F. within a period of four weeks from today.

3. On such case being filed, the C.G.R.R. shall consider the same and decide the case within a period of four weeks and pass necessary orders in accordance with law.

4. With the above directions, the present Writ Petition

Patna High Court CWJC No.3679 of 2024(10) dt.14-02-2025 2/2 stands disposed of.

5. Pending final orders of the C.G.R.F., the authorities are directed not to disconnect the electricity supply to the petitioner provided the petitioner continued to pay the monthly charges of the electricity.
