The petitioner is in custody in connection with Bhadwar P.S. Case No. 21 of 2017 for the offence under Sections 272 and 273 of Indian Penal Code and 30 (A) of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act, 2016.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. His name surfaced on the confessional statement of one Chandradeo Bhuiyan. Learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that he was not present on the place of occurrence and nothing was recovered from his possession. He further submits that the petitioner is an old man and he is absolutely not in connection with the sale or purchase of the liquor.

No.33335 of 2018(2) dt.05-06-2018 2/2 Considering the totality of the fact situation discussed hereinabove, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge Excise, Gaya in connection with Bhadwar P.S. Case No. 21 of 2017.
