1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Akbarpur P.S Case no.525 of 2024 registered under sections 8(b) and 20(a)(i) of the N.D.P.S Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, on a raid being conducted, different quantities of cannabis plants being grown was recovered from different accused persons. 16 kgs of plants was recovered from the backyard of the house of this petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no incriminating article has been recovered from the petitioner's possession nor any incriminating material/plant has been recovered from behind the house of this petitioner. He has been

It is further submitted that the case of the petitioner stands on a similar footing to that of coaccused Sakila Devi from whom allegedly 17 kgs of plant was recovered. She has been enlarged on bail along with one another vide order dated 16.4.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. no.18493 of 2025. The petitioner is in custody since 15.12.2024 and has no criminal antecedent.

5. The application for bail is opposed by learned A.P.P for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegations against the petitioner in the FIR, grant of bail to co-accused Sakila Devi vide aforesaid order dated 16.4.2025, the petitioner having remained in custody since 15.12.2024, chargesheet having been submitted in the case and the petitioner not having any criminal antecedent, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Akbarpur P.S Case no.525 of 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Nawada.
