Two petitioners, who are father and son respectively and in custody since 02.06.2017 and 05.07.2017 respectively, have prayed for grant of bail in Kumarkhand P.S. Case No.129/2017 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. By way of referring to the statement made in paragraph-3 of the petition, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are having clean antecedent and are in custody on an allegation of recovery of huge quantity of Indian Make Foreign Liquor.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39559 of 2017 (2) dt.19-08-2017 2/2 Considering the nature of accusation, clean antecedent as well as period of custody, let both the aforesaid petitioners, namely, (i) Arun Choudhary and (ii) Sintu Kumar @ Sentu Kumar be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Madhepura in connection with Kumarkhand P.S.
