The petitioner, who is the mother-in-law of the deceased and is in custody since 04.09.2019, seeks bail in connection with Dharhara P.S. Case No. 105 of 2019 dated 04.05.2019 instituted for the offence under Section 304B, 120B and 201 of the Indian Penal Code. The sister of the informant was married to the son of the petitioner about seven years ago. Two daughters were born out of the wedlock. However, because of non-fulfillment of the dowry demand, the sister(deceased) of the informant was always tortured. Later she was killed and her dead body was disposed of. Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16653 of 2020(2) dt.03-06-2020 2/2 happens to be the mother of the husband of the deceased. There is no eye witness to the occurrence. The petitioner is an old lady who has almost become a recuse. Some of the other accused persons viz. Jalo Yadav and Bhola Yadav have been granted bail by a bench of this Court on 21.01.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 793 of 2020.
Considering the aforestated facts, she is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Munger in connection with Dharhara P.S.
