The petitioners seek pre-arrest bail in connection with Katihar Muffasil P.S. Case No.29 of 2018 registered under Section 366A read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the statement made by the victim under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure wherein she alleged that the petitioners were instrumental in forcibly lifting her bodily while she was coming back to her home after appearing intermediate examination from the college and took her to various places, I am not inclined to

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.35506 of 2018 (2) dt.29-06-2018 2/2 grant them pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, their application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.
