The petitioner seeks bail in ECIR No. 01/PAT/2013, Complaint Case No. 02/2015 registered for the offence under Sections 3 and 4 of Prevention of Money Laundering Act. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is alleged to be involved in committing the offence of money laundering by directly indulging in acquiring movable and immovable properties in her name by using proceeds of crime generated by her husband co-accused Mantu Yadav @ Raj Kumar Yadav. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17250 of 2022(2) dt.25-05-2022 2/3 petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. She has been made an accused as a co-conspirator in the case only because she is wife of Mantu Yadav who is an eye sore for the administration. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 01.10.2021. Investigation is complete and charges have already been framed. Learned APP vehemently opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the stage of trial and the period of custody, let the above named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge/Special Judge, PML Act in connection with ECIR No. 21/PAT/2013, Complaint Case No. 02 of 2015 (Special Trial, PML Act 02/2015) on the following conditions: "(1) Petitioner shall cooperate in the trial and shall be properly represented on each and every date fixed by the Court below and shall remain physically present, as directed by the Court below, and on his absence on two consecutive dates without sufficient reason, his bail bond shall be cancelled by the Court below.

(2) If the petitioner tampers with the evidence or the witnesses, in that case, the prosecution will be at liberty to move for cancellation of bail."
