The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Karakat P.S. Case No. 196 of 2022 dated 17.10.2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25 (1-B)a, 26 of the Arms Act. As per the prosecution case, petitioner was arrested with a stolen motor cycle and a loaded country made pistol along with cartridge.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. No case is made out under Sections 426, 467, 468, 471 of the Indian Penal Code against the petitioner. Petitioner is in jail custody since

Chargesheet has already been submitted in this case and there is no chance of tampering with the evidence. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner and the period of custody, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M.-1, Bikramganj, Rohtas in connection with Karakat P.S.
