The petitioner seeks bail in Sadar P. S. Case No. 898 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.
In the written report, it is alleged that on 20.11.2018 at about 9.25 PM at the point of gun on Dumari four lane, the petitioner along with two named and one unknown person snatched the Scorpio vehicle and mobile of the informant. The informant had identified the petitioner and other accused persons and has taken their name in the written report. It is mentioned in the impugned order that during investigation the involvement of the petitioner has come in
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15147 of 2019(4) dt.28-05-2019 2/2 different paragraphs of the case diary. The petitioner has confessed his guilt before the police. This is a case of highway robbery.
Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. The prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial. Petitioner will be at liberty to renew prayer for bail after nine months if no substantial progress is made in the trial. (Sanjay Priya, J) shyambihari/- U T
