JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 28-06-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and State. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Dumariyaghat P.S. Case No. 55 of 2018 for the offences under Sections 272, 273/34 IPC and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. The petitioner is in custody since 28.03.2018 in connection with seizure of 34 liters country-made liquor and, as such, he has remained in custody for approximately three months. He submits that the petitioner was the driver of the tractor from where the alleged country made liquor was seized.
