Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 323, 325, 341, 353, 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

The prosecution case is that the informant being Excise Superintendent while conducting raid tried to unlock a liquor shop then 25-30 persons including the petitioner assaulted the informant and his associates by lathi, danda and iron rods.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that accusation is omnibus and general. The injury report of the informant suggests two injuries, superficial, simple in nature.

Considering the accusation being omnibus and general against the petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of 12 weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Banka in connection with Banka P.S. Case No. 96 of 2015, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. (Dinesh Kumar Singh, J) Shageer/- U T
