The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

Allegation is recovery of 1764 liters foreign liquor from a tanker which is registered in the name of petitioner. It is submitted on behalf of the learned counsel for the petitioner that he had already sold the vehicle to some another person but same was not transferred, as such, his name still exists as a registered owner. From the DTO office, it has been verified that vehicle stands in the name of the petitioner, as such, present criminal miscellaneous petition is not
