The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 / 4 of the D.P. Act.
The complainant-wife made very specific allegation that the petitioner subjected her to all sorts of physical and mental torture and also demanded dowry.
The petitioner moved this Court for grant of anticipatory bail and vide order dated 14.07.2014, notice was issued to the complainant. Thereafter, the case was adjourned for compromise and many adjournments were given. Today again, learned counsels for the petitioner-husband and the complainant-
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.29485 of 2014 (8) dt.27-07-2015 2/2 wife appeared and made allegations against each other. Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner, who is the husband, on anticipatory bail in Complaint Case No. 369 C of 2013. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
