The petitioner apprehends her arrest in a case under section 498-A and other sections of the I.P.C. The complainant alleged that her husband is mentally retarded and the accused persons demanded pumping set. She further alleged that the accused persons subjected her to physical and mental torture and drove her out of house after snatching her ornaments.
It is submitted that the petitioner is the sister-inlaw(Gotni) of the complainant and the complainant has not made her husband accused. No specific allegation has been made against

Having considered the facts, and the fact that the petitioner is the sister-in-law of the complainant, it is directed that in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order in the court below, the petitioner Chiniya Devi @ Chandrakala Devi shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Supaul in Complaint Case No. 1164c of 2010, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438(2)Cr.P.C.
