02-07-2018 The sole petitioner, apprehending his arrest in Chand P.S. Case No. 275 of 2017 registered for offence under Sections 304(B), 120(B), 34 of the Indian Penal Code, has prayed for grant of anticipatory bail.

It is a case of dowry death due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. The daughter of the informant was done to death and the petitioner, who is elder brother of husband of the deceased, also actively participated.

Sri Ajay Kumar Jha, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor states that marriage was solemnised only in the year 2014 and within short period, the girl was done to death due to nonfulfillment of demand of dowry. The prayer for anticipatory bail stands dismissed. (Rakesh Kumar, J.) anay U T
