The petitioner seeks bail in NTPC Khaira P.S. Case No. 54 of 2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26, 35 of the Arms Act.

The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 18.04.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 12103 of 2017 with an observation that the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after remaining eight months in custody. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in jail since 11.12.2016. The petitioner has already remained in jail for about nine months.

Considering the facts aforesaid the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of
