For the reason of the demise of the father of the petitioner, a licensee under the Public Distribution System, the petitioner applied for grant of license on compassionate ground, which claim was rejected by the authority on the ground that the petitioner is not matriculate.

Apart from that, many years have elapsed since the death of his father and on general principle of grant of license on compassionate ground, the case of the petitioner is not such where any interference could be made against the order passed by the concerned authority.

Finding no merit in this petition, we dismiss the same.
