2. This writ petition has been filed for the issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the Respondent District Magistrate to take decision on the application of the petitioner for grant of sanction for prosecution of a criminal case and take final decision accordingly as the Judicial Magistrate is awaiting the sanction for prosecution and despite filing application by the petitioner the District Magistrate, Sitamarhi is not taking final decision in

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.536 of 2024(2) dt.10-07-2025 2/2 this regard.

3. After some argument, the learned counsel for the petitioner has sought permission to withdraw this application.

4. I am of the view that these kinds of cases should be dealt properly by the Court.

5. From the reading of the complaint it appears that the petitioner is trying to threaten the local government servant so that they can act as per the wishes of the petitioner.

6. There is no merit in this application therefore, the application is dismissed.

7. Let a copy of this order be communicated to the District Magistrate, Sitamarhi through FAX forthwith for perusal so that he may not grant sanction in such a case. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Shishir/- U T
