The petitioners are in judicial custody in connection with Pannapur P.S. Case No.05 of 2020 instituted under Sections 302,120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code. As per the allegation in the FIR, the informant's husband had left the place on his motorcycle. Later his phone was found switched off. She informed her relations and in the morning, it was informed that his husband's dead body is lying on the road side as also the motorcycle is present there. When she along with family members reached the spot, found her husband has been killed by slitting of his neck. Accordingly, the FIR was lodged against unknown.

Earlier the case was taken up and vide an order dated 18.08.2022, the same was rejected in Cr. Misc. No. 25912 of 2022.

The report has now been received and as per the letter no. 60 dated 01.04.2023, charges have been framed in the matter and the witnesses have been summoned. Further, the next date of hearing was 10.04.2023.

In that view of the matter, the present petition stands rejected with a direction to the Trial court to expedite the trial and conclude the same preferably within a period of one year in view of the fact that petitioner is in custody since 21.12.2021. (Rajiv Roy, J) Prakash Narayan/ Alok Verma/- U T
