Since both these applications arise out of Khagaria Mahila Police Station Case No.17 of 2021, they have been heard together and are being disposed of by this common order. The petitioners of both these applications apprehend their arrest in connection with Khagaria Mahila Police Station Case No.17 of 2021 for offences under Sections 498A, 420, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Parties have agreed to settle their disputes. Petitioner nos.1, 3 and 4 have agreed to pay Rs.19,50,000/- (Rupees nineteen lakhs fifty thousand) to opposite party no.2 as one time settlement amount. Opposite party no.2, who is present in Court, is agreeable for the same.

Accordingly, let petitioners of both these applications, in the event of their arrest or surrender within eight weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Khagaria in connection with Khagaria Mahila Police Station Case No.17 of 2021, subject to the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.61661 of 2021(7) dt.17-05-2022 3/3 conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. Petitioners will surrender in the court below and execute their bail bonds along with Demand Draft for Rs.19,50,000/-. Demand Draft should be prepared in the name of opposite party no.2. The court below will hand over the Demand Draft to the opposite party no.2 and on deposit of the amount of Demand Draft, bail bonds of the petitioners shall be accepted.

With the aforesaid observations and directions, both these applications are allowed.
