2. The petitioner is in custody since 17.01.2020 in connection with Jalley P.S. Case No. 09 of 2020, G.O. Case No. 75 of 2020 for the offences alleged under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise and Prohibition Act, 2016.
3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in connection with recovery of 2476.80 litres of illicit liquor. It is submitted that the petitioner has no concern with the goods recovered rather his brother Santosh Nayak does business of illicit liquor.
4. Learned APP appears and opposes the bail petition, submitting that a huge quantity of illicit liquor has been recovered and the petitioner has been arrested at the spot. The
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16591 of 2020(3) dt.25-06-2020 2/2 petitioner has one antecedent of similar nature.
5. Having regard to the nature of accusations and the gravity of the offence alleged, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of bail to the petitioner. The petition stands dismissed.
