In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Bakhtiyarpur P.S. Case No. 439 of 2018, registered for the offence under Sections 324, 326, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The petitioner is mother-in-law of the victim. Allegation has been made that the petitioner and other family members have sprinkled kerosene oil on the daughter of the informant and set her ablaze.

Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is
