This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Bariyarpur P.S. Case No.37 of 2011 registered for the offence punishable under sections 394 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code and under section 27 of the Arms Act. 3.

The petitioner is accused of committing murder of the husband of the informant.

The name of the petitioner has come on the confessional statement of co-accused. The petitioner was an absconder in this case, which is registered in the year 2011. He is in custody since 18.06.2024.

Considering the seriousness of the offence

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16682 of 2025(2) dt.16-04-2025 2/2 and the fact that the petitioner was an absconder, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this bail application is rejected. The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at the earliest.
