Having regard to the nature of allegation against the petitioners for the offences punishable under Sections-147, 353, 379, 188, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section-3(i) (x) of S.C./S.T. (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, this Court keeping in view their criminal antecedent as also the violation of the order of S.D.M. (East), Muzaffarpur passed under Section-144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. The prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is hereby rejected.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.30272 of 2014 (2) dt.14-01-2015 Nothing said in this order however would come in the way of the petitioners in surrendering before the Court below and praying for regular bail.
