====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 23-06-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That this is an application for issuance of a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order/ orders or direction, commanding the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner and other similarly situated persons for promotion to the vacant posts in Stenographer Class-I (PA) scale as existing before 09.05.1998."
The learned counsel for the Respondent-Company submits, on instructions received today only, that the post of
Patna High Court CWJC No.23587 of 2013(2) dt.23-06-2023 2/2 Stenographer Class-I and that of Stenographer Class-II have been merged and in the year, 2016, the petitioner has already been promoted, whereafter he has also superannuated. In such view of the matter, it is submitted that the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous.
In view of the aforesaid, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner be granted liberty to approach the respondent authorities in case of any subsisting grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
The writ petition stands disposed off.
