JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 06-09-2018 The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs - "(I) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing the order dated 12.07.2014 contained in letter no. 651 dated 12.07.2014 issued under the signature of the respondent no. 2 whereby and where under the Respondent no. 2 has informed the writ petitioner that since he was granted Driving License before completion of 18 years of age, his Driving License cannot be restrained.
(II) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Mandamus, commanding and directing the Respondent no. 2, for renewal of the petitioner's Driving license No. 18965/93 which was issued in his favour by the District Transport Officer, Kohima
Patna High Court CWJC No.8219 of 2015 dt.06-09-2018 2/2 (Nagaland) which has been declined to be renewed by the Respondent no. 2 on the ground that the aforesaid Driving License was issued in favour of the petitioner before he had completed 18 years of age.
(III) For issuance of any other appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions for which the writ petitioner would be found entitled under the facts and circumstances of the case."
2. Mr. S.B.K. Manglam, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed during the pendency of the writ petition and hence, the same need not be pressed.
3. The writ petition stands disposed of.
