Informant, who happens to be major had enjoyed company of the petitioner for the last so many years without any complain, grievances, however, disappeared from few days earlier to the institution of this case, whereupon victim had gone to the place of her father-in-law, mother-in-law (allegedly), who behaved roughly as a result of which, instant case has been registered for an offence punishable under Section 376 of the I.P.C. In the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, petitioner, Chand Alam @ Shahnawaz is directed to be released

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.40349 of 2017 (02) dt.03-10-2017 on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah in connection with Bettiah Town (Kalibagh O.P.) P. S. Case No.598 of 2016.
