2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Jakkanpur P.S. Case No. 647 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 303(2) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Act, 2023.
3. As per allegation, the petitioner along with three co-accused persons assaulted the informant by means of brick on his head. Further, the petitioner also snatched gold chain from his neck.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated. There is no specific allegation against the petitioner to
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15614 of 2025(2) dt.02-04-2025 2/2 assault the informant. The allegation against the petitioner is to snatch the gold chain from the neck of the informant and other accused persons have been granted bail.
5. On the other hand, learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
6. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M.-VIII, Patna in connection with Jakkanpur P.S. Case No. 647 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. (Nawneet Kumar Pandey, J) Neha/- U T
