2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Ladania P.S. Case No. 238/2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 22/23 of the NDPS Act.

3. The petitioner is a citizen of Nepal and he was apprehended with huge quantity of cough syrups and other medicines.

4. The petitioner is in jail since 04.09.2023.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the recovery, I am not inclined to grant him bail. It is accordingly dismissed.

6. The trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within six months.

7. The Superintendent of Police, Madhubani will see to it that the witnesses are produced on each and every date.
