1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(i) For issuance of writ of Mandamus commanding and directing the respondent authorities to allow the petitioner only the relaxation in height as per the schedule caste norms and as per recommendation made by the respondent no. 3 (District Forest Officer) Gaya according to the Bihar Forest Manual (3.22(ii)) for the appointment on compassionate ground as per the recommendation made by the District Compassionate Committee, Gaya for the post of Forester Guard vide Memo no. 2344

Patna High Court CWJC No.4738 of 2024(2) dt.04-04-2024 2/3 dated 03.07.2023.

(ii) For issuance of writ of Mandamus commanding the respondent authorities only with regards to height of the petitioner as per his actual height 5"-3" wrongly measure 5'-2" which can be modified or relaxation may be given as per S.C. Quota or Bihar Forest Manual.

(iii) For issuance of writ commanding of Mandamus and directing the respondent authorities to constitute a board for measurement of only in height of the petitioner and other private respondent and as per the report to change his cadre of Chaukidar to forest guard according to S.C. Quota of Bihar Forest Manual.

(iv) For issuance of writ of Mandamus commanding and directing the respondent to his date of joining on 03.10.2013 on the post of Chaukidar and continued till today and as per the remeasurement change only the cadre in forest guard. So that injustice of violation of Article 14 and 16 may not be done in petitioner case."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondentauthorities for redressal of his subsisting grievances, if any.

3. The present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
