No one appears for the petitioner, however, learned counsel for the State is present.

Petitioner has filed the present writ application for a direction to the respondents to pay remuneration since March, 2020 to July, 2020, totaling to a sum of Rs. 1,25,000/-, which was withheld by the respondents. It is further alleged that the remuneration calculated by the Headmaster of Government Boys Senior Secondary School, Rajendra Nagar, Patna was Rs. 1,17,000/- but only a sum of Rs. 95,000/- has been paid to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the State submits that absentee report was sent by the Principal of the aforesaid School and the

Patna High Court CWJC No.4268 of 2023(2) dt.29-01-2024 2/2 same was examined in light of the Circular dated 17.03.2021, issued by the Bihar Government, annexed at Annexure-A, from which, it was found that total working days for the period March, 2020 to July, 2020 is 95 days and accordingly, the petitioner has been paid Rs. 95,000/- (@ Rs. 1000/- per day). 4.

Considering aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, I do not find any merit in the present writ application, accordingly, the same is dismissed.
