Counsel for the petitioner is directed to remove the defect(s), as pointed out by the office, within a period of eight weeks.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Wazirganj P.S. case No.157 of 2019 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307, 379, 504 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge VI, Gaya.

The earlier bail application of the petitioner was rejected vide Annexure 1 to the present application taking into account that the petitioner had also assaulted the deceased along with the other co-accused. The postmortem report also

It has been reported that out of eight prosecution witnesses, one prosecution witness has already been examined and the trial is expected to be concluded within a period of nine months.

Considering the nature of accusation and the stage of the case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The same is rejected.

The Trial Court is directed to take all necessary steps to conclude the trial at the earliest preferably within a period of eight months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, taking into account that the petitioner is in custody since 13.06.2019.
