This writ petition has been filed for quashing order dated 28.09.2013 passed by the Additional Collector, Bettiah, West Champaran (Respondent No. 3) in Jamabandi Cancellation Case No. 437/2013-14 whereby a proceeding has been initiated for cancellation of Jamabandi No. 107 running in the name of the petitioner and his ancestor in respect of the land appertaining to Khata No. 79, Plot No. 797 admeasuring 4 Bigha 17 Kattha in the Jagarannathpur village of Majhaulia Anchal of West

Patna High Court CWJC No.8051 of 2016(2) dt.16-01-2024 2/2 Champaran district.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Jamabandi Cancellation Case No. 437/2013-14 is still pending before the respondent No. 3.

4. In view of the aforesaid submission, writ petition is disposed of with direction to the Additional Collector, Bettiah, West Champaran (Respondent No. 3) to dispose of the aforesaid case in accordance with law after hearing the parties, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. Writ petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction.
