The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special Case No.714 of 2020, arising out of Sigori P.S. Case No.10 of 2020, registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Act. The accusation is that in course of patrolling duty by the informant and other police personnel, one person was seen coming on motorcycle. On seeing the police party, he started to flee away but, on chase, he was apprehended with motorcycle. On query, he disclosed his name as Mukesh Kumar (petitioner). On search of the motorcycle, one tube, containing 100 liters country made liquor, was recovered.

Submission is that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 20.01.2020.

No.14148 of 2020(2) dt.13-05-2020 2/2 Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge Excise, Patna, in connection with Special Case No.714 of 2020, arising out of Sigori P.S. Case No.10 of 2020.
