Having participated in the process of selection for the post of constable pursuant to the advertisement no. 1 of 2012 writ petition has been filed claiming the relief of appointment pursuant to the said selection process.

Writ petition does not disclose the details whether the petitioner was ever declared qualified or selected in the process. A vague assertion has been made in paragraph 6 of the writ petition that the petitioner was successfully qualified. Neither the date of result nor any detail in support of such averment has

In her representation dated 28.01.2014 which is Annexure 7 to the writ petition, there is no such averment that the petitioner has qualified. The petitioner has only given details that she was subjected to physical test on 24.07.2013. Beyond that there is no details on record for this Court to arrive at a conclusion that she was ever declared finally successful in the process of selection. Same is also not apparent from the petitioner's representation dated 28.01.2014 (Annexure 7) of the writ petition.

Writ petition is therefore, devoid of merit and the same is dismissed.
